Newspaper reports and periodicals
In the early years the business was too small to get noticed. Articles appearing in newspapers were typically of fines and accidents. As the company grew it attracted the attention of ‘The Commercial Motor’, the leading journal for the haulage industry.

The World’s Carriers and Carry Trades Review’, July 15th 1921. This was probably the first mention of a Melia business in a trade publication.
